Questions about the vehicle
Ask which specifications, equipment, mileage, and condition details have been confirmed on the actual vehicle. Request known service information, number of keys, included accessories, tire and brake observations, recall status where available, and any condition items still being assessed.
Questions about history
Ask what ownership, registration, service, incident, and previous-use information is available and from which source. Clarify gaps or inconsistencies without assuming that one document is complete. Request permission for an independent inspection if that matters to your decision.
Questions about price and trade
Request a written breakdown of vehicle price, taxes, registration, fees, optional products, trade allowance, payoff, and equity. Ask how long a quote or appraisal remains valid and which conditions could change it. No verbal estimate should replace the final documents.
Questions about financing
Ask about amount financed, annual rate, term, payment frequency, total repayment or borrowing cost where disclosed, conditions, optional products, and early-payment rules. A pre-approval or calculator result is not final approval.
Questions before signing
Confirm warranty coverage where available, return or exchange policies if any, deposit terms, delivery conditions, promised work, and after-sale contact. Policies vary and should not be assumed. Read the agreement, keep copies, and pause when a figure or statement is unclear.
